Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We have seen things rapidly changing in regard to orders and guidelines issued by our Government, CDC, and our Church Hierarchy in connection to the Covid-19 virus. We have been carefully monitoring all the information and guidelines that are being set forth. Therefore, sadly and unfortunately, at this time, it has become necessary for us to limit attendance at the Divine Liturgy to clergy, one singer and one altar boy until further notice.
Divine Liturgy will begin at 9:00 AM, but only Fr Dragomir and a few other people necessary for serving will be allowed in the Church. Beginning at 10:00 AM individuals and families will be allowed to enter the Church one at a time to light candles, say prayers and if you have prepared yourself, you will be able to partake of Holy Confession and Holy Communion.
We are not stopping to minister to all those who are in need. If anyone would like to receive Holy Communion, or has a need of spiritual guidance or prayer, we ask you please to contact me at 480 737-6807.
We ask all our faithful to comply with all guidelines and do our best to do our part in protecting the health and well being of all. This is the time for all of us to increase our prayers at home and to have real family time together.
With the prayers for your safety and all the people around us, that this pandemic will end quickly, and that we will resume our regular schedule of Church Services and Parish events. I wish you all health and peace from our Lord.
Yours in Christ,
During this pandemic crisis, our Church is affected in many ways and one of them is financially. Every Sunday we receive income from donations, sales of candles, and offerings. Now all of this has stopped. We need the Church more than anything in our life because the Church is a vehicle of salvation and salvation is the main goal and purpose of our life. We ask all of you, dear brothers and sisters, to help us with donations. So please remember your dear St. Sava during these difficult weeks ahead. May God Bless all of you!
